Mini puppy
New listings.
Ok, it's official. I love druzy. If i was a magazine writer, and was writing an article on the new geode/druzy trend, I would call it, "Dizzy for Druzy." But alas, I'm not.
Seriously, though. What is possibly better than brightly colored sparkly rocks??
This newest ring is called Midnight Disco. Mostly because I love the idea of a ring called Midnight Disco. Photos make it look a bit lack luster, and I'm still waiting for the right light to really make it dazzle.
Coming soon...Mini Weenie!

Sleepy!
I could not go to sleep last night for hours. And I mean hours. I think trying to sleep and thinking about never falling asleep again and what will happen if you can never sleep again and how tired you will be in the morning is one of the worst things ever. And now I'm sleepy! What do you do when you can't sleep? I'm recycling a photo of my little baby cousin sleeping that I used in an old post, because he's too cute and sleepy not to use again. And now I want to be in bed again.

Weekly Spotlight On...!
*applause, applause*
This week's item is an old favorite: Owl on Agate.
This little guy is the only one of it's kind in the UNIVERSE.

Already on sale on my Etsy shop, I'm making him even lower, because he deserves a good home!! He is now on sale for $72.00, from $85.00. It's like wearing a little sculpture around you neck.
\So, that's the deal of the week. And what a deal it is! You can be the one and only owner of this delightful neck piece by ordering it on my Etsy. Free shipping too!
Oh, Halloween...
For halloween, I am going to the boyfriend's place in DC and meeting up with my two old roommates/best friends, all named Rachel. That's right, we were the Rachels.
This is us at the Spice Girls reunion tour a couple years ago in Boston. Thus the peace signs. You would NOT believe how much glitter was being worn in the audience! I'm on the left, Rachel M. in the middle, and Rachel J. on the right.
Anyway, we haven't been together for over year, so obviously we have to have fabulous halloween costumes. Since we are all pretty deep into Mad Men, we, like many other people I'm sure, are dressing up like the three main gals. Or at least planning on it.
Long story short, I found these amazing dresses on Etsy in Timeless Vintage Vixen's shop. They all scream Mad Men. But it will be a while until I can afford a $450 vintage dress...until then, a gal can dream.
And here.
And now, for the million dollar question, what/ who are you being for halloween? Peggy?
p.s- I'm writing a post for the first time in a cafe. I feel so hip. Midnight Train to Georgia is playing, and I just finished a small mint mocha, my current vice. They put a mint tea bag in it!!!!

Bullet Buddies
Maybe I should make a picture book of Bullet Buddies interacting. I love this scene. Meg, Heather, and Mom are all laughing at Dad. Dad's just having a good laugh.
Photo Flashback
This is one of my favorite pictures I ever took. It was at the Shack Up Inn, in Clarksdale, MI.
It's so massive and I love how the lines of the walls are tilting in.

Little things.
I'm watching the Tyra Show. She is such a hoot. A girl just got her hair like Rhianna, and now she's crying. Tyra's hair is extra voluminous. Voluminous? Is volumous a word? Voluminous? Anyway. I also made this ring:
Kirby has a gunky eye. Gunk in his eye. I try to mush it away with a blanket, and then it gets on me and its gross.
Do you have a dog? Does said dog like to perch on the back/top of the couch? Does he have gunk in his eye?

New Best Friend
Melody over at Me Melodia did a lovely post on my gigantic geode knuckle ring! what a delightful blog she has, full of wonders. She posted the image above by Irving Penn, an artist I don't know anything about who sadly died a few days ago. The photo makes me want it to be a hot and lazy summer again soon. Don't worry, fall, you will be my favorite forevs.

Newbies
Oh, hello there.
I've been working on a bundle of things lately, and soon will have some delicious new agate and druzy pieces. For now, here is a new turquoise ring i made, a new weenie dog, and my personal favorite, an opal twisty. Not in that particular order.

Latest post from blog.2modern.com
The new packaging design at 7-11 this fall makes me almost want to get something to eat at 7-11. Only almost, though. The promotion features Domo, "the Japanese stop-action character and meme celebrity." The article, found on EatMe Daily, quoted the Slurpee marketing manager Evan Brody as saying that 7-11 consumers "love crazy Japanese shit." Hah. They're even going to be selling Domo themed merchandise like hats. Who knew 7-11 was so hip?

What to get?
I'm going to boyfriend ben's dad's birthday in a few weekends, and have completely clueless as to what to get him. Whenever I go away with his family, I do a puzzle with his dad. So! Since I can't make him a piece of jewelry per say, which is my usual go to present, I decided to make him a puzzle piece tie tack! I'm pretty pleased with the results:
Have you ever needed to get a significant other's parent a present? What did you get?
