Honey!

I recently sold a honey bee necklace to Jacy of Beeyond the Hive. It might be the most adorable and delicious looking website I've ever been to! She is a fourth generation beekeeper, and with fellow bee enthusiast (and sister) Jamie, started Beeyond the Hive to reach a wider, fresher customer base for their family's honey business.Go to their website. It is just lovely.

Bee Weddings!!

I just finished four lovely honey comb necklaces for bridesmaids in a honey bee themed wedding. It appears that it's a bit of a trend! This is from TheWeddingCo.com:
Abeille Art tags gift set, by MothtoaFlameStudio; Brooklyn Cufflinks, by milkweedandhoney; Butter-Bee Hair Pin, by honeypielove; Bumble Bee Peel and Stick Wax Seals, by waxseals; Orchid-Infused Sweet Mandarin and Honey Shea Body Butter 4oz jar, by pipertate; Bee and Hive Stickers and Envelope Seals, by seasonaldelights; Bee Bliss, by luckyduct; Custom Anniversary Birds and Bees, abcd1111 (clockwise from the top left)

My little bee necklace is gonna make it big!!

New Ring

Perhaps one of the largest rings I've ever made, this bold and daring piece is made from a triangular piece of amethyst agate.

And this is the newest addition to Bee Season! I decided to name this evolving honey related collection to one of my old favorite books by Myla Goldberg.

Bees!

I took some pictures of bees and honey at work today. I love the geometry and the colors.

And this is a wee little penguin at the Science Park T-Stop who I always say hello to.
