Bland couch?

Ben and I were lucky enough to take an old couch from my parents. It's a sort of cream/tan/oatmeal. To jazz it up a tad I covered it with a great quilt and put my two favorite pillows on! More snapshots of new house to come...

Bow ring!

Finally! I have bow earrings, bow necklaces, and now, a bow ring to complete the set!

Pebble Engagement Rings?

I just finished listing these zen little sterling silver pebble solitaire rings. I love the idea of a guy giving his gal one as an engagement ring. It's pretty much the absolute opposite of a diamond, but has a great minimalist and organic feel. Also pretty as stacklables!

Inspired to ravamp.

I caught the bug. The revamping bug. All I want to do is go to the salvation army, but old chairs and end tables, paint them mustard yellow and blue, and stencil honey comb patterns on them. Can I do that? Some inspirations via Design Sponge's Before and Afters:

I can't stop making bows. It's a blessing and a curse. My latest is this chain.

Oh. Em. Gee.

I was just watching a repeat of the Westminster Dog Show, and I saw a wire haired, mini dachshund. I nearly fainted. Then I did a little google image searching, and found this little hero. Honestly though. His cuteness gives me a stomach ache.

I just took these pictures of some oldies but goodies on a window sill, and love how dramatic they look. Ain't nothin' like a little photo make-over to jazz up some Etsy items!

Bike Love and Honeycomb Earrings

When I saw colored bubbles, I almost did a back flip. I never even thought about them, but now that I know they exist, I must immerse myself in a cloud of them. It only took ten years of experimentation and discoveries. Thanks, Zubbles!!

Color Coded Desk

My mum got me and Ben this desk (only $20 on clearance at Staples!). As we've been unpacking our stuff, we've realized that most of our electronics our black. So, we took a picture.

Now Ben gets mad anytime I put anything with color on the desk. The end.

New Nest RIng!

I think two of these new rings would make sweet and different wedding bands.

How magical

Some things:

a) I just ate a piece of chocolate with pop rocks embedded in it. At first I was skeptical, but quickly realized it was a thing that dreams are made of.

b) How smart and fun is this coffee stencil? From this shop.

c) I listed some new things which I'll post shortly.

d) Also, hilarious use of sausages. Apparently I-Phone users in South Korea use them as stylus tools when it's cold and they have on gloves. Read all about it here.

Craft Fair

For all of those who didn't see my extremely professional and amazing set up at the cabin fever gift show, (brown fabric clad foam core display boards never looked so good!), here are some photos!

Map.

Ben and I are about to move into this big empty house for a bit, which is not decorated. We have a few posters and paintings, but I thought we could use a map. And just now, thanks to the always-up-to-speed-on-all-things-I-need-in-my-life-without-knowing-it-Sarah Brin- i found the map i need. but it's $60 more than I can spend on a map of the world. (It's $60.00.)

Instead, I'll just stare at it for a long time, and imagine how amazing it would be hanging up in the living room.

Cabin Fever Craft Fair - Check

I think I love craft fairs. I love talking to other vendors, I love setting up. I even love waiting hours after you're done setting up, waiting for the show to open to the public.

I love not peeing all day because I'm too lazy/scared to go to an art gallery down the street and take an elevator upstairs to a bathroom with a line.

I love forgetting that I haven't eaten anything all day, except a Cliff bar. And a gigantic Arizona Iced Tea.

I love having people laugh at my Beard Is Good keychain.

Some of those sound sarcastic, but they aren't!

Anyhooslebees, I don't know where my camera cable is, so I'll post some pics later.

New Pacman Rings!

SO, for the Cabin Fever Show this weekend, I made a few sets of a special edition Pacman ring set!

The pacman faces are made from antique silver dimes, and the dots are hammered blobbits of silver, oxidized to a nice black! To get your own set, i guess you'll just have to come to the show!
