Right in my backyard!

I saw this article in the Boston Phoenix this morning and thought it was so cool. It's about an ex duck boat driver named Gonzo who turned a run down house in Allston into a thriving artistic community, where people rent rooms, and where his down and out friends can get their lives together. The house is dubbed NASA- New Allston School of Art. Tenants must go through a lengthy interview and audition process before they can rent a room (Gonzo claims that since he is going to have to listen to their music all day, he has to at least like it.) The house really reminded me of staying at Steve's brother's house in New Orleans during the summer road trip, only more clean and...with less slugs. Here are some pictures from the article. Read it in it's entirety here.
