Good Vibrations
Old leather sandals, anyone?
My dad is trying to unload a batch of these neat old leather sandals that are around 40 years old. Super hippy. They don't even have holes punched in the straps, you have to get that done yourself! But they are pretty stylin', and basically free for something like $22.00. shipping included. So if you and your guy want matching awesome Moses-like sandals, get them on ebay! Only a few sizes are left.

Triangles Galore
Compare compare compare!!! steal vs. deal!! splure vs. save!
I never do this, but after seeing these two dresses, I had to do one of those obligatory "Steal Vs. Deal" comparisons.
VS.s
Forever 21 for $27.80

Admittedly, I like the Anthro dress way more than the Forever one. But still, pretty similar.
Holy Cocktail
I do.
I had THE best drink of my life, that I never before knew existed. It was: A French Pear Martini. Has anyone out there ever had one? It was amazing!!! So good. And strong. And tasty. And good. Did I already say that?
Anyway. If you are of age, I insist you either make it or order it. That is all.

Things that are new.
And FRUIT FLIES IN THE KITCHEN. so many! They are sneaky little biddies, too. At first I think they finally left us but then i touch something and swoosh! a million and one fly up into my face. I did the dishes. I took out the trash. I cleaned all of the tables. And they are still here! I even tried the ol' apple juice in a glass with a plastic baggy poked with holes in it covering the top.
So I bought a fly strip thingy. The plastic bag covering the apple juice trap immediately got stuck on to the strip, so that whole thing is hanging over the sink. It almost got stuck in my hair.
Anyhoo, that's whats new! I hope they leave in the morning! Good night!
pretty pots
I bought one of Rob Cartelli's ceramic mugs recently at a craft fair, and love the shape and simplicity. The colors and stripes remind me of lined paper from school.

Thank you cards!
I have to send a few folks Thank You notes, and instead of buying some, I tried thinking up my own. And this is what I've been doing for the past too many hours...
Inside
Are they funny? I'm going to make some into actual cards. Are they Etsy worthy? Are there too many cards out there already?? Help!
New Drusy!
I've had this piece of beautiful gray drusy hangin' out on my work bench for so long, not knowing what to do with it. I finally took the plunge and am quite pleased with the outcome! I love the shape and angles of the stone.

A concert.
Ok, ok, commenters. I deserved that. I was tired and cranky. (This post previously contained a rant about my concert experience seeing Dr. Dog and Deer Tick.)
In reality, the show was amazing. If you haven't been to the Paradise before, it's this small venue that's really wide and shallow, so no matter where you stand (unless it's behind the giant pole!) you can't be too far from the band. We were a-dancing and a-singin' and a-sweatin' all night long.
I hadn't listened much to Dr. Dog's new songs, but when they played a few of my favorites I couldn't stop jumping and fist pumping to the beat. An especially raucous and dance happy group in front of us added to the good vibes.
But, commenters, I won't ignore the bad stuff!! I DID get a cramp dancing. I DID get mad at the people who pushed their way in front of me. But that doesn't mean it wasn't great!
The End.

Newest Galaxy Ring...
...or Midnight Drusy...I can't decide on what to name it. But I went with the latter, anyway.

Honey Comb Weddings
A beautiful wedding website called Before The Big Day posted a honey bee collection and included my necklace! I can't stop drooling over all the other items. See more at the website!
its humid and there were monsters
Wowzas. is it warm out there. Luckily, the Brandeis Festival of the Arts had me set up inside, which was nice. It was fun, but the best part were these crazy puppet costumed people who marched around the campus interacting with the people. I forgot their names, but they are based in Providence, RI.
Not everyone was a fan.
My designs appeal to all kinds!
