IN CONCLUSION, I'll be gracing foxwoods Wednesday with my presence. Mama needs a new pair of shoes! (not really, i just bought a fab pair of metallic purple flats for $10.00 from Forever 21!) (and a new shirt to wear to the casino.)

I just got this Kiehl's lip gloss when I was in San Fran, and not only is it a pretty pink that isn't very sticky , but it makes you a GREAT whistler. At least it made me sound great.

i'm a content thief sometimes, and once I saw this lovely sign featured on Poppytalk Blog, I couldn't get it out of my head! I'm dying to make something like it. And now that I've discovered Martha Stewart sells flocking powder in every color imaginable, maybe I'll make something like it. but fuzzier.

Sneaking.

So, I decided in order to get rich and famous, I have to get into a magazine. And to get into a magazine, I need to have a look book. And to have a look book, I had to go wander the aisles of Michaels for supplies.

I found:

3 sheets of mustard yellow scrapbook paper
1 bottle of Martha Stewart Turquoise Flocking (I had no idea they had that!!)
1 roll of double sided alphabet stickets
1 pack of glittery turquoise photo corners to hold pictures on the pages

Aaaand so far I have a cover!

How do we like? Any nifty suggestions to binding the book? I'm thinking of two binder ring things on the top corners so that it's like a flip book...decisions.

Happy New Year!!

This is one of possibly two flattering pictures taken of me all night on New Years Eve. We were downstairs in this super neat cave bar at Southpaw in Brooklyn during the Felice Brothers Show. Definitely the best concert experience of my life: it wasn't too long, I could sit down when I got tired, and the drinks were cheap! (ish).




And now it's back to the daily grind. It's a pretty great grind though. I have to catch up on orders I got when on vaca, including a delightful little weenie doggy that is almost finished.

That's all I got!

At long last, i made it to uniqlo today!

Ended up getting a mens flannel shirt in x small,Their guys section way surpasses the gals.
