good plane reads?

We embark for Athens this Saturday, and I know I will be bored silly on the plane. Any suggestions for really easy, guilty-pleasure reads that will keep me occupied for 9 hours (plus an 8 hour Montreal lay over?). I'm not talking enriching books. I'm talking a good, scandalous plot. Suggestions?

Love,

RAchel

  1. Take "The Hunger Games" and "Catching Fire"! I just read the first one and can't wait to get into the second one. They are considered young adult reading but they were great!!!!!

  4. Look for anything by Phillipa Gregory - she writes saucy historical fiction which is strangely addictive:)

  5. I'm reading Eating Animals by Jonathan Safran Foer...it moves really quickly and he's very entertaining. And the cover is so beautiful. Always, judge a book by its cover.

  6. The Help by Katherine Stockett. It's a really good read and I've sent in my application to be an extra in the movie they are filming this summer in Mississippi! Famous!
